I would doubt that Sarah was giving birth when she was over 50.

In that case, it would avoid misunderstanding if you told us us where you have looked.....................and you should also give location info when you ask for help...........

Are you sure about this? I find it very difficult to believe that a woman had her first child at age 15 and carried on till she was over 50. There are some big gaps in the dates of birth which make me suspect at least two different mothers.
What was your John Howarth's occupation? There are a lot of couples called John and Sarah Howarth.

According to 1851 census, Sarah was born in Todmorden.......which is partly in Yorkshire

Please check the date info you have posted......................1851 shows different birth years for the older 'children'
