I have just found this man - and trying to see if there is a connection to my Henry Strong who I think was in Portsea in 1879 when/where his wife died (Although I have the death cert there is still a little bit of a question over whether it is them). Henry was also born in Crediton .Devon like this Benjamin Strong. I am wondering if he may have been a relative as, as yet I have no idea why my Henry was at Portsea! |

Potty - the transcription I've got says Boot intur and Publican. I Get the publican bit- have googled the address and it's still a pub! but Boot Intur was odd. Riveter makes sense -but odd combination! |

I edited, I had messed up the relationships in 1841, yes, John seems to be the father in that household, James the school master would be the brother of Benjamin the printer, in Hampshire |
