Thank you so much Kucinta, Your finds are amazing! Quite a bit we have found over the years but my mother was very reticent (skimpy) about her past and, unfortunately had already died before we started our in depth research.
Thanks for the snippet Marie Celeste

Mistranscribed, but in 1881 William E has changed his occupation to Butcher like his father, and also moved into the address father William was living at in 1871, namely 48 Hall Lane, so looks like he took over his father's business and his home.
Census 1881:
Address: 48, Hall Lane, Bowling County: Yorkshire (West riding)
LEWTH, William E Head Married M 38 1843 Butcher Bradford, Yorkshire LEWTH, Elizabeth Wife Married F 44 1837 Confectioner Thornton, Yorkshire LEWTH, Susanah Daughter Single F 13 1868 Scholar Liverpool, Lancashire LEWTH, Margaret Daughter Single F 11 1870 Scholar Liverpool, Lancashire LEWTH, Ellen E Daughter Single F 9 1872 Scholar Bradford, Yorkshire LEWTH, Mercy E Daughter Single F 5 1876 Scholar Bradford, Yorkshire
EDIT: Two of the girls seem to have changed name, but Ida had Margaret amongst her names in mother Elizabeth's probate Mary posted
??
Name: Idi Margaret E D Leach Date of Registration: Jan-Feb-Mar 1870 Registration district: West Derby Inferred County: Lancashire Volume: 8b Page: 280

In the 1871 census that Reggie posted, where the family are living in Sturgess Street, Bowling, William E Leach's occupation is given as warehouseman.
However the entry immediately above is for another William Leach aged 58 born Allerton, wife Ellen etc, of 48 Hall Lane, who is a butcher.
So it looks like William senior changed occupation at some point.
Census 1871:
Address: Hall Lane, Bowling, Bradford County: Yorkshire
LEACH, William Head M 58 1813 Yorkshire [Butcher Allerton] LEACH, Ellen Wife F 56 1815 Yorkshire [Kirby Craven] LEACH, Henry Son M 23 1848 Yorkshire [grocer Bradford] LEACH, Helen Daughter F 19 1852 Yorkshire [Pudsey]
Stuff in [ ] added from census image.

Thanks both. I am feeling a bit confused as our previous research was heavily into butchers so it seems we will have to backtrack to check out all our old research material for discrepancies

Seems unlikely, or at least, not of the same age, as it's his mother's surname that gives rise to the 'Ellins' ( see 1842 baptism posted previously for parents as William and Ellen)
Name: William Leach<<<<<<<<<<<< Marriage or Bann Date: 16 Mar 1833 Parish: Bradford, St Peter (Bradford Cathedral) Spouse's Name: Ellen Ellens<<<<<<<<<<
William is described as a weaver. The writing on the image is very faint, but it looks like Ellen was a minor (under age ie under 21) and the marriage is 'with consent', but I can't read who consented.

Thank you Reggie and Kukinta. Sorry for the delay but my internet connection keeps dropping out. I have replied once but lost it! The 1891 census you have includes my grandmother Ida. When I did my original research on this family in 2003, it was by the old method of visiting the library in Bradford and in my notes of the time their mother, Elizabeth gave herself as a widow! We have today found William Ellins Leach death in FreeBMD - the original image is correct but mistranscribed.
As he isn't present with his wife and daughters in 1891 I wonder whether the Wyke entry is him but having changed from butcher to fishmonger, or could there possibly be two William Ellins Leach ?????
