Find Ancestors

William married Elizabeth Powell in Bromley Sept 1822. Elizabeth died 1842. They had five Daughters
Who was the father and the mother of William Spatchurst ? I have been told that the ancesters of William's family were Puritons and they emigrated to America around the time of the of the Pilgrim Fathers or some time afterwards
Presumeably they returned to England at some stage in their history.
Can anybody help? I have details of the Spatchurst line from Willam until the current time.

There was also a Stephen Spatchurst born in 1805 Titsey. Stephens wife came from Westerham in Kent, not far from Bromley. IF he was Williams brother it may help tracking his parents.

There was also a James in 1802 so I think Gins was probably right and the name did change a bit over the years.
