Thank you so much, I have been searching for his death certificate number so I can now purchase it. His first wife was Eleanor Bates and he had 3 children to the marriage, Eleanor died in 1913. James emmigrated to australia and also bought over Beatrice and her children (including one child of james/Beatrice another James.

James was also the son of George and Jane Sim

I also had the details that he was born abt 1882 in south shields so that date is great. I have another problem with the same family but will put it out there on another thread

I am trying to find the death information on my grandfather James Sim. and any further information the death cert has.He was born in 1882 in Jarrow, England and did in 1941 in Geelong Victoria I think.
