I wouldn't be surprised if Freda's birth cert names Isaac as her father..............even though he couldn't be.

And it wasn't Wright..........or she'd have been identified as his 'daughter' in 1911.............

So, you may have to accept that you will never know.

(given the location, could well be Freda on above!)

Hi all to have been so kind in helping me. I have just got back from the Uk I did some grave yard tramping and found a few interesting things out. Isaac was unlikely to be Freda's father as he had been put into the workhouse in Thorpe in 1895 according to his death cert he died of general paralysis so would not have been able to father children. There is also a daughter Dorothy Bendall died in 1896 11 days old buried in Weybourne
So who was Freda's father could it of been William Wright????

I am Margaret Bendalls great grand daughter her daughter Florence was my grandmother and my father is Edward Harris, I have the death cert for Isaac he did in an aslyum in Thorpe in 1898, my mistake Freda was born in 1903 and was unlikely to be Freds father as he was sick.

Catherine Bendall never married, I know this as I used to stay with her when I was a child she was known as Kitty, I also knew Freda Bendall, Catherines sister how ever I do have their fathers death certificate now, he died of syphalis, which now tells me he could not be Fredas father, also I have found a Susan Bendall buried in Weybourne church with Margaret and James Mackrell she was buried 11 days after born in 1895 again I cant find a death or birth certificate but she is named in the Church register so must of been still born. On Isaac certificate it state he was in the work house for three year before he died I898..

You are probably going to have to accept that you are never likely to find out who Freda's father was
