I think Herbert and Gertrude had more than one child as Maurice's death notice describes him as a son and brother:

She was 19 years old at the time of the marriage, which took place 23rd October 1884 at the Church of St. Thomas, Bethnal green. Her father was Eugene Chaudessolle. I wonder if they went to live in France. Bob

Thanks for your efforts, and Mike, yes it was some family. F M Fergusson was Florence Maud, my grandmother. She died in 1984 just short of her 94th birthday. She was a lovely lady and I miss her still. I have a wonderful photo, taken in about 1900, of my Gt Gt grandmother, surrounded by her daughter and son-in-law, and all 14 of their children. All the Fergusson children reached adulthood, and most of them reached a ripe old age. Please keep digging everybody. Bob
