My gg grandfather Alfred Anthony married Sarah Knight in Chilbolton 1842 before migrating to New Zealand..His marriage certificate lists James ,a tailor as father and Mark Anthony as witness. I also have death certificate records for a James Anthony,(Tailor) and his wife,Jemiima interestingly both recorded as 26-11-1858 . Are the latter two parents of Alfred ? If so can anyone assist with other links /ancestors of this family. Thanks Milt

	Am I right in thinking that sometimes people who hadn't been previously baptised as a child, were baptised just before their marriage? Or am I making that up!

	Alfred's age is from 1841. Normally 1841 ages were rounded down to nearest 5 for adults so maybe he was older.( especially as he is listed above his 16 year old sister ) What age did he give on his marriage cert ?
