He married Agnes Cooper b:1883 Kingstone Canada they married in Bolton Lancashire
Augustus was living at 296 Ainsworth Lane Bolton at the time of the 1911 Census, Occupation shown as Joiner
Looking for Death of Augustus possibly not in England

His birth was in Audenshaw Lancashire which is a part of Ashton under Lyne district.

mothers maiden name Hutchinson.

even though Ashton under Lyne is in Lancashire, the BMD records are under Cheshire...

1891 census has him living in Bolton with his parents John and Sarah J Tomlinson

and his two brothers and a sister.
His father was a joiner.

Could Augustus have signed up WW1 he would only have been 32 or 33yrs old?

I've been looking for his war record and I can't find one for him but that means nothing as so many of them were destroyed in WW11 and the CWGC site seems to have a glitch at the moment so I can't find out is he died in WW1.
