	It looks like Eliza & Ludwig had a child together but were not married The son seems to have taken his step fathers name

	Ah. Found Lewis Ashby on a tree on Ancestry and the information matches what we have found. His death is stated as 17th September 1880 but the only death I can find is for Lewis Ashley so I wonder if it is a mistranscription.
