"Looking at Alfred Richard/Charlotte Rose, they are on 1911 census together - she states born Clapham in 1889 - but the only birth for a Charlotte Rose King that I can find was St Saviour in 1891 - and she is on 1901/11 census, so not the same person.

Do you remember if your gran had any other siblings - it's just Alfred's military record gives a number of children:

Lillian Rose (23/5/1909) - registered as King, but married as Mussett <<<<<<<
Winnie Elizabeth (18/8/1911)
Voilet Louise (31/7/13)
Thomas Henry (28/11/1917)
And added was Bob (20/1/1920)

safc as i said before my father has the certificate of his mothers birth ivy mussett and i am gonna go see him tomorrow as he works night and is a sleep most of the day,
i dont live close to them, to see if he has marriage certificate

i was asking about charlotte rose mussett witch is someone completely different to my other thread,

i was asked how lankston fitted in to all this and i explained. and how i couldnt find census records and thats all i was asking now all this

then i get these comments back i dont see my family as a waste of time !!!!!!!!
and i wouldnt dream of saying this to anyone

Just occurs to me that these two births might be confusing the issue?

Wouldn't It would just be quicker to get the birth cert for Ivy or ask your dad what it says on it re father and mother's full name?

the only two sophia marriages i have found are:

as for the king???? I really dont know where this has come from

but Lilian Rose who is on the 1911 and was born before the marriage according to the military records posted appears to have been born King?

well taking a look at Ivy birth cert will give both parents names you can then see if it ties up with the info we found

In the meantime I would really recommend you take at look at Ivy,s birth cert
