some help would be appreciated with this please. My son in law's great grandfather Jacob Levy was born in 1885 (?) maybe in Mile End London. His parents came over from Poland (Russia) but I don 't know their names except that it's believed their original name was Cedarovski (not sure spelling is correct) but changed to Levy so they would be accepted by Londoners. Jacob married Mary not sure if in London or usa and they had 3 children born in the USA in 1910, 1911 and 1912. Is it possible to find out Jacobs parentage, where he was born, when he went to usa and where he married? |

His children were Fritzi 1910 USA. Emanuel 1911 Chicago And Lois 1912 USA. Jacob would have passed in the USA either New York or Florida or California (sorry) . I don't have his siblings names.. |

Thanks for this info. I couldn't find any marriage cert for him and Mary or a passenger list to USA I suppose he and his mother and siblings could have gone after she was widowed . |

WOW, I think the infor i was given was a bit off and yes it probably was Frieda and Louis. Was there a 1930 census or anything on a passenger list? Thank you so much, feel we are getting somewhere now. |
