Find Ancestors

Can anyone help me? I've been told that I am related to the above but can 't seem to find a link.
I am decended from George Brown born Waleby Notts in 1811. I believe that his father was called Richard ( b1781) married to Mary Stubbins but don't know for sure.
Can anyone fill me in on the Rev John's second family with Violet Crombie or any of his brothers. His first family all seem to stay in Scotland.

do you have George's father's name from his marriage certificate?

in 1851 he is married to Maria, in 1841 he and Maria are living with Richard

where do you have the names Richard and Mary from? parish records should help find George's birth and his parents' marriage ... if you haven't asked Wendy to help with look-ups, maybe try her thread?

in that batch there are Brown(e) births going back to the late 1500s in Walesby (but not for Robert father of Richard 1779)

so one of John and Violet's other sons would have had to go to Nottinghamshire and have son George there ...

possibly there is a connection pre-Rev John Brown, but there does not seem to be a direct line from Rev John Brown to George Brown of Walesby

is that Rev John Brown famous, that a connection with him would be claimed?
