Find Ancestors

Hi, I am trying to find information about Rudolph Cohen (born c 1900). I know that in 1931 he lived in Maida Vale with (I think) his sister June Garcy. June married Samuel J Garcy Sept qrtr St George's, Hanover Square, (vol 1a, p1377). I would really like to know if indeed Rudolph & June were siblings & if there were any others. Also if either Rudolph or Samuel & June had any children/grandchildren. Many thanks. :-)

Oh, her name is Rose there. On the electroal roll for 1931 she was resident at 43 Delaware Mansions, Maida Vale & she is listed as June Garcy!

Lol - I know the feeling, although my mad moments seem to last all day! That looks promising. I guess if June/Rose married in 1930 she may have only been 18 so would have been born after the 1911 census. Is it possible to find out if Samuel & June had any children? I have tried looking but I have limited resources & haven't been able to find anything.

An Ancestry member called Carole has been making alterations to this family back in 2011

I am not a member of Ancestrry but I think I could access it in the library. So would it be best to search on Israel & Jetter Cohen?

Could this be June's hubby?

FreeBMD doesn't have any Garcy births with mother's maiden name Cohen.

I think that is a distinct possibility as I know he was resident in Maida Vale which is very close. Thanks very much for the iinfo.

In Glitter Babys census above, which was the 1901, Israel was a tailor and both he and Jetta were born in Russia. their address was 63 Leman Street Whitechapel. a lot of other people had this same address so maybe it was rooms or flats.
