Hiya. Thank you so much for all this further information. Much appreciated. Yes, it is a strange name, certainly sounds/looks like a girly name. Where are Grace and George in 1911? I've been on this trail on and off most of the day. Will check for any
messages when I get home from work tomorrow evening.

Kind regards

Kathryn

Elisha is a male name............not in any way strange

It first appears in the Bible

You may simply have to accept that the couple were not recorded in 1911........it happened

Am wondering what info you think the census will give you . It will give his age and where he thought he was born other than that the marrige cert is your best bet as that should give his dad's name too ,if known .

Going on from that that tho the marriage info has been posted by Yvonne so there no need to buy the cert unless you want to of course

Grace,s death cert should state if she was wife or widow of so will give some start time to try to find his death

The only info you don't have now is his death, and 1911 census wouldn't help with that.

You can find his mother's maiden name by using freebmd

This COULD be his death..........it's the only one I can see in Kent which fits the criteria, but that assumes he died in the County

Hello all, thank you so so much for all your time, help and the information provided. It is very much appreciated. Yes, I know what you are saying about the 1911 Census, it's just that I get so frustrated when I can't see something in black and white. I believe you, between you, have found all the info possible. I am now going to work on the children when I have time.

Once again thank you so much. It's amazing what another pair or two pairs of eyes can do when researching.

Kindest regards

Kathryn
