Hi Everyone I just checked the family bible and Caroline did marry Henry of course and they had Austin henry who married Emily roughton. theses are my grand parents. I believe Henry's father was Augustine which was where austin derives from but it means going back to ireland and a possible norman connection.

Hester/Esther shown as a widow in 1851. Unfortunately as the 1841 wouldn't record that, it's not certain whether she was widowed by 1841 or her husband just wasn't at home on the day.

Eliza's baptism with mother as Esther Jaynes. AS there is no Father mentioned then I would think that Esther is a Jaynes. Perhaps a William Cox admitted parentage of Caroline as she has that surname on the 1841 census??
