Yes ArgylGran, we have got off the beaten track from my original address request, but I have picked up a couple of ideas from Jacqueline which is nice. Also I am pleased to have the Canadian address mentioning a cousin, I don't think I had that information. It is a while since I investigated that part of my tree. Yes Jacqueline. Florence and my mother (both with the surname Hassall now) returned to England in 1928. James Hassall also returned the same year but at a different time.

Yes I have the marriage cert for Florence Day and John Wright. Do you mean the office might be able to find the death of John Wright? All the family events were held at St Cuthberts, Lytham. Maybe his funeral was too? I will persue this avenue as an option. Thank you.

Yes Jacqueline. Denis married Ivy Hailwood and they had two daughters in Bolton. I met the daughters when I visited UK a few years ago. They couldn't tell me when John Wright died. If I knew that I might be able to tie up a little section of my tree, but it looks like I am out of luck. They couldn't tell me anything about him, which I was disappointed about. I think the 1921 census will be something I have to wait for.

Looks like one son died, and the other was left behind (presumably with his father)
