1911 you asked for gives father as William not Frederick but occupation fits?

On the 1911 census for the family that Catherine has posted above in 1901, that Maud is shown as EMILY Maud.

Perhaps there were several Fowkes in the fishmonger business? I notice when Ethel Maud married her father was deceased, wonder if mother remarried and recorded under stepfather's name somewhere?

EDIT: Yes, that is a different family, EMILY Maud Fowkes married Alfred Tillett in 1919.

There a few name variations and I know that nothing is certain. But now a have a few names to throw at him and see if any ring a bell. Thanks
