Find Ancestors

Hi, just cannot solve this one & really getting to me now, have a Walter Blundell born Michelmersh Hampshire 1838, can find & trace him to 1891 census, when he was married to Annie (Stevens, marriage traced to Wandsworth 1889) 1891 in twickenham with her & 3month son, the 1901 census finds Annie re- married but with 3 Blundell children 2 boys close in age. Then a gap & a girl Lillie Lizzie born 1897, obvious conclusion Walter has died btwn 1891 & 1901, so obtained lizzies BC to check whether father was shown as alive or deceased, to narrow things down, except her BC shows Father unknown! So Walter obviously not her father, narrows things down even further to before 1897. Except I cannot find any record of his death! Details I do have: 1891 shows surname as Brundle, he was railway worker then, BC of Lillie Lizzie shows her mother Annie Blundell(Stevens) as a charwoman address 7 Knowle Rd. Twickenham, if anyone can find a record of death I'll be amazed & very grateful.

I can not find the marriage for Walter in 1889 to Annie Stevens. Did he marry at the age of fifty one.

Shows Annie was a widow, maiden name Stephens

Am I missing something?!

We're supposed to be looking for WALTER Blundell but the 1891 census shows Annie with FREDERICK Blundell??

All the info above indicates that Annie married Fred Brundle/Blundell, and not Walter.

Walter is single in 1881, and I don't see any sign of him after that - so far.

This is his service record, which shows he was discharged in 1872.

A possible death for Walter in 1884 has been posted.

I think Linda has got mixed up as everything points to Frederick being the father of Frederick Junior and William. Frederick Senior died in 1895 (as posted above) so wouldn't be Lillie's father.

I'm blowed if I can find Frederick b. 1861 on the 1871 or 1881 census but I'm wondering if he was a brother of Walter.
