Forgot that one Dea.

Husband's family are from Howdon, Wallsend and I'm guessing that it would be there if John Grant worked on the Tyne.

There is also a Howden in Flintshire which first came to mind for me............

We can't find our great grandfathers death date. All we know is that it was between 1891 and 1901. He was a seafarer and on the 1891 census was a watchman on a dredger in the Tyne.
