Find Ancestors

I have a dilemma with the above lady. I think she married my james Varley in colne in 1849. Then james died in 1865. I later found a betty Varley marrying Alfred Holgate in 1872. I am thinking it's the same betty. Please could someone check the 1871 census and the 1881 for Nelson area for betty. She was born approximately 1848.

James and betty got married in 1849 .....in colne....but lived in little Marsden which was Nelson area . S sorry Catherine. :-(
