Lisa, it will be very difficult to find out more about Elsa's ancestry, but her marriage certificate to James will give you her father's name

They had no children, it was my uncle's 2nd marriage, I think it was actually 1947 they married, her name at marriage was listed as Elsa A Licis (alternative spelling Elza) They married in Coventry, UK.
My mum remembered her vaguely as having expensive clothes from USA so possible links to USA.
Not much information unfortunately, we only have a photo of her but was hoping to try and find out something about her.
