A tree on Ancestry has the birth of a son of Alfred (John Alfred) on 11 December 1947 - so you can scratch him off 1939 register |

You got me going there! Unfortunately the witness at the wedding was Austin E Cornelius. He was Sarah's brother. Although there are loads of Cornelius in the Faversham area, Alfred Edward doesn't appear to be in this line. |
