Please could someone post the details for this man:

John W Holland 1881 Leeds C.B. Yorkshire (West Riding) in the 1939 Register

and in the 1911 census:

John William Holland abt 1880 location relation city, Yorkshire-East Riding

also this woman in the 1939 Register:

Minnie Holland 1880 Leeds C.B. Yorkshire (West Riding)

as I am wondering if my John William Holland married Minnie Dunbar in 1902.

There is a death reg for a Minnie Holland in Leeds, sept 1953
and John married Beatrice Gambles in the same quarter that year also in Leeds

Update

Just found the probate record for John William Holland so now have a lead on him
looks like he died in 1957 in Leeds, aged 76 now to work back!

Kayak

Kayak Report 3 Sep 2016 14:25

Yes, that's the right family, Olive and Beatrice were sisters, children of Job and Jane. I do have all the census info on this family but nothing on Fred Buckley apart from his marriage to Olive so I can now fill in a few facts for Fred on my tree.

Londonbelle,
Yes this could well be Beatrice with her daughter being the closed record. Beatrice Gambles birth was recorded in the June Q 1900 (fits with the birth in April 1900) and the baptism that Chris Ho:) posted above. I do know that Beatrice did not marry until 1953, in Leeds but had her daughter Margaret Olive Mayfield Gambles/Holland in 1920, in Leeds. (not sure if John William Holland was already married and not free to marry until then)
I was hoping that they would be on the 1939 register together and that I could pick up a lead for John William but looks like I've lucked out..

Many thanks to you all for your help.

Tiggit

(well done on that, really haven't got time to add all at moment, but articles in Newspapers relating (3) seems Fred was a Pork Butcher, died as result of a triple car collision)
