Hi I have a couple of addresses that I would like to know who lived there if possible

47 Sutton Road Gorton hey lived there from ?? till they died 1974 & 1996 they married in 1929 so after that date I'm looking for Frederick Anderson & wife Martha Hornby

the other is 27 Trust Road Gorton Frederik Hornby

electoral rolls online start at 2002. Before then you would need to check at the Main Library for the area

Frederick & Martha were living at 47 Sutton Road in 1939 as they are there on the 1939 Register.

There are two entries on the 1939 Register in Manchester
Frederick Hornby dob 20 Dec 1878 - 7 Bosworth St (6 people)
Frederick Hornby dob 21 Jan 1908 - 14 Martha St (3 people)

Quick correction -

Frederick F Hornby @ Martha St has a dob of 21 Jan 1903, not 1908 ;-)

Right I have a Frederick Hornby 1878 married to Jane Sidgreave these are the Parents of Martha Hornby b 1908 who married Frederick James Anderson in 1929 I have his dare of birth 1908? going off his marriage certificate can't read the address
his father is down s Joseph Anderson a Hat Man
This is the family I want to trace I have Frederick was born in Manchester but not sure about this, apparently they lived in Liverpool but they married in Manhester

Yes it is one of my topics and it has Hornby mostly about Foster Hornby

but as I've said I'm trying to find out about the Anderson Family.
I have found a few of the children were born in Birkenhead

(apologies then, thought Jane Sidgreaves/Frederick Hornby Marriage might be useful, mgnv had added some details)

The trouble with my tree is I have so many with the same name it takes me a long time to sort it out
I've got all the info on the Sidgreaves / Hornby marriage

But this is more closer to home and I have had contact with a distant relative who is connected to the family Anderson's who I'm trying to get a bit more on.

Just noticed the confusion The Frederick Hornby living at Martha Street is the brother of Martha who married James Frederick Anderson

There is only one Frederick James Anderson born between 1907 and 1909 which is the following

So if Frederick J in the 1939 Register was born on 31 Mar 1908 this would be the correct Birth Registration for him

This could be the family in the 1911 Census although Father, Joseph, is not a Hat Man but I suppose it is conceivable that he could have changed his occupation by 1929
