Find Ancestors

I am trying find the whereabouts of William Pirt born 1863 Bury St Edmunds Suffolk.
I can find him on the 1881 census spelt as Pearte and he was a milkman and on the 1939 census he is living with Lewis Cooper my grandfather. it says he is an old age pensioner and widowed. but nothing on 1901 and 1911. I would like to know who he married too.

Oh he was John William, maybe dropped the John name as his father was called John.

William apparently not with them then. I'm not sure what the name transcribed as Arith is meant to be - but the age would be pretty much correct for William, and that person fits between James and John, as William did in 1871 census.

No me neither, there was a Henry Purt born to them in Bury St Edmunds who was born in 1869,but I can't find a birth for him . he was known as harry later on. He wasn't in any of the census either, with his parents.

So is this the correct Birth
