Gerrard, originally Jones has been impossible to single out on BMDs, now I have her full birthdate. Hugely helpful.

I'll do some further looking into Henry L and Mary. Also very helpful if only to eliminate this one..

Wow! I am blown away at the amount and accuracy of the information you have provided.

Those are the correct censuses.

Ellison was the mother's maiden name for Henry, Elizabeth and Owen. John Lloyd Jones was the father. I have Owen's b.cert., (I have 4 incorrect certs for Henry) Looks like you have provided the path to the other two. With those I can confirm I have been searching the correct family. Where did you ever find it please? I've been looking for about a decade.

I have Elizabeth and Samuels marriage cert., their children's names birth and death quarters and Elizabeth and Samuel's death quarters.. (It was from the 1911 census for Henry (a niece, Norah) that I was able to follow the Gerrard connection).

Henry was still single on the 1911 census and living with his Mum, whose given name has changed from Ellen to Helen. The 1939 entry will not be so important if the birth info today leads me to his birth cert. Have had a look for marriages post 1911 census, nothing conclusive, most likely would have been Cheshire. Perhaps the only way to take Henry and his Mum forward from 1911 would be Electoral Rolls for their 1911 address. 8 Holly Terrace, Tilston, Malpas, Cheshire. Not possible from Canada (yet). I have a possible death for Helen (is that really her name?) age 90, in 1921.

My next step is to apply for the b. certs. If they confirm this is the correct family for Owen I will try again to find a marriage for the parents.
