Yes looks to be him Dea, that Henry Middleton one was born Ireland 1897, there on 1911, thought better check him out!, Malyon hadn't given Army number though.

So if you don't have his marriage certificate- can I ask where does his birth date come from?

I Don't have the certificate but have always been led it to be M and it has been transcribed as M, I do realise they make mistakes.
