If she died in the 1980's then she can be identified from her exact date of birth - so you could try to purchase her birth certificate. |

If you find Harriet still unmarried living with siblings/parents on the 1939 census, it will give you a date to work from for any marriage. |

Interested in the 1976 one. I was working from when my grandad died in 1984. I was told it was only a few years before but maybe not |

There is a Thompson family in the household listed above him and note that in the household below is an Isabella who seems to have started life as a Shaw. |

Yes there was a sister called Isabella born in 1922. Other siblings are Edith May Shaw 1902, William H 1906, Frederick J 1908, Edward 1911, Ann O 1913, Robert 1916, Thomas 1918, Harry 1921 and Arthur 1926 |

Do you know Isabella's date of birth or who she married please? |
|||
|
Dea | Report | 22 Mar 2017 20:20 |
If this was her marriage then there is a very good chance that the Harriet who married Mr. Guther is the one you are looking for as Isabella is living with the Guthers in 1939 (even though she is classed as in a seperate household within that address: |

Yep that is definitely Isabella's correct marriage as my mum can remember aunty Bella and uncle Van |

On Toxteth Cemetry website has a death of a Harriet Guther 18.11.1976 and states addrss as 20 Boswell Street. So it's definitely her . Thank u all everso x |

It appears to be the same address as William & Harriet - i.e. 20 Boswell St., Liverpool. |

Just to point out that you can do a free search of the 1939 census, but it will only give you basic details |
