Now trying to find address for Leonard arther cansdale brother of hilda cansdale born 12/11/ 1906 died Feb 1984 in Colchester. On 1939 register he was a labourer. But I can't find him anywhere else, not on census/electoral roll, military. Any help please?

As we've all come to the same conclusion, the only thing we can suggest with any certainty is that her mother was Jessie Demment who went on to marry Arthur Henry Cansdale.
He may or may not have been her biolgical father.

As there's no Hilda Cansdale mmn Demment, could she have been born before any marriage? The lack of a mmn on the index does suggest her mother was unmarried.
