I have been looking on 1871 census for JOHN Thomas Maskell born 1856 in Little Hale Lincolnshire I have been trying to find his parents hoping they would be on this census....well it has Elizabeth Thacker head age 76 widowed Maria Maskell age 48 unmarried John Maskell son age 16 and Sarah Maskell age 8 daughter? Now looking at the ages they can't be Children of Elizabeth as they have different surnames could they be children of Maria?
