Not looking too good though as I think this is he above couple in 1939 and although they do have a son called Robin it doesn't seem to fit?

Of the people on that list of directors I posted the link to earlier:

Anthony Frederick is Robin's son.
Someone called Katie Jane has him on her GR tree - you could try contacting her.

Katie Jane also has Andrew, Nigel, and Kevin on her tree - also sons of Robin.

June is Robin's wife (someone called Janice has her on a GR tree) , and Terence Walters will probably be his brother-in-law.

As well as being on GR trees, there are addresses for all these people on the link I posted.

What is Nellie shortened for please?

Normally short for Helen, but there are lots of people officially called Nellie .

The 1911 census has a surprising number of Nellie Bells in Yorkshire, born in or near 1909. None specifically in Bradford.

Please could you see if you can see Nellie Bell wife of Charles Sydney Martin (they married 1937) on the 1901 and 1911 census she was born 1885 Leicestershire Thankyou.
