Find Ancestors

I am looking for the Parents of my Great Great Grandmother Harriet Payne who was born in 1836 and married my GG Grandfather John Cuzner on 26th June 1862 in Froome Selwood Somerset. On their marriage certificate Harriet's Father is given as Stephen Payne Occupation Brewer. One of the witnesses at the marriage was George Payne. I have everything on the Cuzner side but have been unable to find Stephen Payne. I don't have any details about the Mother of Harriet to find a marriage for her Parents. Thanks Pam

Milton Regis is a village in the district of Swale in Kent, England. Former names include Milton-next-Sittingbourne, Milton Royal, Middleton, Midletun and Middletune. It has a population of about 5,000. Today it is a suburb of Sittingbourne although this has not always been the case, Milton Regis has the older and richer history. Until around 1800 Sittingbourne was a smaller hamlet and under the control of the Manor of Milton Regis.

As the marriage of Stephen and Mary was in Milton and her age was given as 52 on the 1841 census - a possibility for Mary Barrett. Place of birth not given on the 1841 census other than "born in county"

Thank you to everyone I will work through theses I know that Keyford Street is given as Harriets address on her marriage certificate so looks like 1861 census is her. The age given for Harriet on the marriage certificate was 26. Thank you again Kind Regards Pam

Have found an image of the marriage certificate on Ancestry.

John is shown as aged 24 a Hair Dresser of Bath Street, son of Bladud Cuzner a Clothier.

Perhaps Harriet knocked a couple of years off her age as he was younger than her?

Have you found them after their marriage on census at all?
