Possibly Ellen?

and maybe her death??

PATCHETT, NELLIE 6

I suspect she may be the daughter of Catherine /Kate, rather than of Isabella.

thank you for the above information, i have progressed so far but

lucy remarried after William Elliott died to JAMES s Miller in 1920 Brighton but I can't find her death.

Her daughter Grace also married 3 times and i have been able to trace her.

I cannot trace her siblings Maud and Edith so more help I would vey much appreciate.

I am working through William Georges family. Strange how he aged himself by 12 years but the names of his children are consistent with those in his family.

Also on the 1881 census was a daughter Ellen born 1880.
There is no registration in the gro or trace of her anywhere so another mystery

1871 says Holmfirth, Yorkshire.
1881, back to Whitton/Witton Park.

But by 1871 he's born 1866 Durham ???

I can't see a record of any such birth in Co Durham 1865-68, so I suppose he must be the same person..

ArgyllGran

ArgyllGran Report 14 Sep 2017 18:18

Re brother George William -

I'm confused.
Chris asked if that was brother George on 1881 census "same as 1871". Which 1881 census? Which 1871? Did you mean the 1871 which GG had posted immediately before Chris's question?

If so, can that be the same person?
The one with parents George & Isabella is William George, born Durham 1866.

He can't be George William born Huddersfield 1854

William George 1866 Durham is still with his parents in 1881:
