(busy clearing a room! at present, only came on earlier, for 'sandwich break' lol, regarding your below post)...

, could I ask one more favour of you please? One of the daughters is Mrs F Ward.. That would be Francis Elsie Wood, I have her down as marrying a Lewis George Baker in 1921 Rugby could you double check this out for me please, I have all the other marriages correct, but this one has thrown me, unless she remarried . Thanks

On her baptism record 1869 it says dad Joseph a soldier.
No sign of him 1861 but there is this
28,Regiment
Crimean War Corporal
Joseph Dearlove dies in camp 18/6/1855.

1871 Looks like like Elizabeth Dearlove mother of Elizabeth Esther and Sarah is a widow? so maybe Joseph wasn't the father of Sarah Ellen, could that be the reason I can't find Sarah's birth record??

Yes maddie they are all mine, Joseph married Elizabeth Slayter , but I think the spelling for Slayter changed over the years x

Chris I eventually found her !! Mrs F ward was in fact Dorothy Margareita Wood, who married a Frank Ward in 1936 in Bournmouth , , took a while but I got there , lol x
