equally i can not see any sign of those death dates for bridget in padiham, 1828 or 1834? am i missing something ? :-S

exactly , somuch differing info on ancestry so not sure what to believe. No sign of proof so not sure which is correct. I can see there is a definate connection to bolton. and we know that henry emigrated to australia with wife susannah in 1840. Henry is the son born in 1811 in padiham.
i wonder where they get the exact date of death for richard as 16 october 1824 . i can see no evidence for this anywhere. :-S

thanks eileen.I think though that to be married in 1809 he would have to have been born at least 1789 if not a little earlier. I think he was at heart a non conformist so would have to marry in an anglican church but perhaps baptise his children in a non conformist one. He and bridget had first child giles hoyle hargreaves in 1810 . Then henry born in 1811.
there must be a bolton connection somewhere to as both giles and henry married in bolton but seemed to come back to padiham later. :-S

Neither Family Search,or the Parish register have any deaths that fit with those birth dated. The Parish registers appear to be intact.

There are 2 births for a Richard Hargreaves1) born 1798 baptised 11/3/1798 son of John and Ann 2) Born 1798 baptised 3/3/1799 son of William and Isobel.
Will go back and see if I can find anything else. From Family Search.

Can anyone help with the death of a richard hargreaves who was husband of bridget whitaker . They married in 1809 in padiham . I am trying to find the deaths of this couple. I did find a death in may 1824 in padiham . But on some trees i have seen they seem to have an exact date of death as 16 october 1824. I am wondering if i have missed this death somehow. I did notice that at st leonards in padiham the month of october seems to be missing for deaths when checking on the parish records for st Leonards.
can anyone help. ? I am unable to discover wether the supposition that his father was john and he was born in 1789 is correct also.
