Can't find him so far, I'm afraid.
Have also looked for him under another surname, if Sarah married, but no luck.

tried to find a marriage for sara btn 1851 and 1861 without success :-)
she may have died

You can order a pdf version of his birth cert from the GRO for only £6

That should tell you his parents, but I notice that there is no mention of the maiden name of his mother.

The GRO site now has the maiden names of all the mothers on the birth records and the age on the death rcords.

The pdf version is still on trial for another 3 months and only costs £6 instead of the £9.25 for a paper version

In 1861 census looks like Henry and Sarah are married in Baildon, both 25, no children showing.

There is a Joseph Patchett in 1861, recorded as son, but could be grandson?

Still can't see John anywhere in 1861.

Henry doesn't seem to have married Sarah.

Possibility for Henry's death:

I don't see him conclusively in censuses after 1871.

Itink I have found Lukes baptism slightly different spelling but thats not unusual.
I looked at the will you mentioned, no family named. Do you think it will reveal more.

Birkenshay will be Birkenshaw, so looks like the right baptism.
