1937 they married Hendon Middx. Marriage Cert shows Franks father as
James Henry Jones deceased Master Baker Frank A as Widower.
1939 moved back to Harrow on the Hill .Stayed till 1956 Had 3 more children.
have researched all above.
Was John a / Frank a the same person. was he married before. Where was he born ?

For what it's worth -

a search on FreeBMD shows no Frank or Francis A Jones's born in last qr 1900 (assuming DOB given in 1939 register is correct).

There are these John A's - but no John Arthurs:

I've been taking a look at this problem and, to keep you busy, could someone take another look at 1939 and check the year of birth on original, for Beatrice please?

Catherine just checked the original image of 1939 and the date is 27th Oct 1906, there's a slight blue pen mark that the transcriber has mistaken for the stroke of a 5, but comparing to other entries it is definitely 06

I think from the info I found earlier we can safely say that Beatrice wasn't married before.

Thomas, could you just confirm who had the occupation of a jobbing gardener please?

If you found that on the birth certificate of John Arthur, then it can't be his own occupation so was that his father's occupation?

You said earlier that his father was a Master Baker so I'm a little confused.

If you have the birth certificate for john Arthur Jones, then it should also give his mother's name?
