I did try to post earlier but it must have got lost in the ether....what , I assume, is Susan's tree, has DOB for Emily in 1911 (from her death record in 1998. 1939 register gives 1894.

Doesn't help with George....

Can't be certain but there is another Turner/Fitzpatrick birth 1968 Newham, (very distinctive first names) so the Darke marriage might not be him??

Have you got that marriage cert of 1956 to confirm it's the right George . The fathers name should be on it which should be Oswald if it's the same George Wiliiam H

Re 1939 record...if you look at the image, there are only two closed records (not three as shown in the transcription). So if there were four children why only two closed records?

If George remarried, then it's possible Maureen ( nee Fitzpatrick did also? unless you know otherwise Susan?

if so the children may have taken step father's name, it might be Smith, which doesn't help locating them

The four children in OP are from that marriage in 1956 (Fitzpatrick) that Shirley has listed. Given their ages, maybe they should not be named/DOBs given?

You should remove Kerry's full birth date if she is still living, she too has a middle initial. mmn Fitzpatrick.
