	No mother's maiden name on the index - in other words, no father named on the birth cert

	I will check this, I believe I have a copy of Frederick's birth certificate (1846) which has Charles Matthew Siggs (1808-1855) named as father.

	On my tree I have recorded Margaret Ohren, she used the name Siggs, I believe he was still married to someone else.

	He married Elizabeth Reed in 1829 So, if he was not married to the mother, the children were iillegitmate Margaret Ohren is 'linked' by Ancestry when one searches for Siggs.
