Hi
Can anyone find the above man on the 1901 or the 1911 census in Burnley. / he was born in 1897 son of Thomas Gregory and Tamar . He died in 1963. I have found a marriage in 1924 . But as yet , not found any children.

I'm wondering if there was a mistake on the 1939 census and maybe she is the one born in tidmorden in Dec 1901 . ? :-)

the death 1975 says 16th dec 1900 as on the 1939 reg

could be this one reg late as born in december 1899 so reg in january 1900

Another thing to remember is that many people gave the wrong birth years .............. the DATE and MONTH are usually correct, but the year may be changed, either accidentally or deliberately.

I wonder if one, either or both had been married before, as that would be a reason for them to marry in a Registry Office. Robert is old enough to have been in WW1, and there were many wartime marriages.
