Ask your grandfather what date Brenda's birthday was - I'm sure he'll remember - then compare it with the death registration posted above.

If it matches, get a copy of the cert for the informant's details. He or she may be willing to help you with info, if they have any.

My Granda pretty much has confirmed all the information, but he doesn’t know what month her birthday is. So I know all the information beforehand was correct. There’s no chance anyone has more information on Brenda herself is there? Thanks

Not unless they are related - and you say you're not able to ask her daughter

Your best bet is to get a copy of her birth cert. That will tell you whether or not the death I posted is hers.

Hi everyone just a quick update. I’ve been through their school records on a Facebook page with their details of when they started the school their address and parents name. They all match the info yous have given me. Just one thing, they seem to have another brother called Colin Chapman born1940 with the same father and living at the same address. I’ve also found Frank Chapman (brother) date of birth...which is different to the death certificate by 1 day so do yous think that could of been a mistake and that is his death certificate?
Also I found Brenda’s exact date of birth too...which doesn’t match the death certificate so hopefully she’s still alive. I just want to thank yous all so much cause without your help I wouldn’t of got this far!

Please remove her DOB from your post - as it's a major identity theft tool - and also, as she is probably alive, an invasion of her privacy.

Thank you

For the same reason, please also remove birth dates of Colin and Frank, unless you know they have died.

You can leave the year, but delete the day and month.

EDIT:

Frank must have died, as he is on the 1939 Register posted earlier.

I never realised it was a problem to post the date of birth considering most of her information is on here so I didn’t realise adding a date of birth would be such an invasion of privacy. I have changed it. I only added them as that’s more information that could help in the search I was hoping to find some more out. I apologise but I never realised.

If Colin is a brother of Brenda, then there seems to be another sister, Ann, born 1944 in the same reg district.

Oh is there? Can I ask how you find more siblings as I can never seem to find any more. Thank you

You weren't to know, but as so much other info has been posted, anyone could have used the DOB as an identity theft tool.

To find siblings, simply enter the two parental surnames in the search boxes on freebmd
