	That's a possiblity, malyon, if it weren't for Pauline/Roberts belief she was born in Seaham. Do you have a copy of John Kennedy's mc to Spooner? What are the details please? 	There may be some truth in it, but you'd be better off documenting it correctly. If you're confident that the book has recorded the correct marriage, order a copy then follow through. Within the last 12 months, GRO has released a new index, free to search, giving the mmn for births from 1837 to 1917. Its a great help sorting out the parent's names.
