Good afternoon, I wonder if someone would be kind enough to look up and give details of the above. There is Michael Cody 52, F B Cody 36 and I believe seven Cody children. The Registration district is Cambeltown, Argyllshire.
Thanks in advance
Ron

I'm a little puzzled, not unusually for me. I have the Cody family in the 1891 English census with Michael married to Ellen Elizabeth Cody, née Laister (I have the marriage record - not the certificate). I appreciate that names sometimes get mistranscribed and E E could possibly be seen as F B for Michael's wife in the 1901 census, but the ages of Michael and his wife are somewhat different from the 1891 census. Do you think that Ellen Elizabeth and F B might be two different people? I couldn't find a death for Ellen, however.
Any thoughts please?

Sorry, for F B above read K B

Deaths of Charles E and Catherine F.

Unfortunately no mms given, so can't tell if they're Catherine B's children or not - but I presume they are:

CODY
CHARLES EDWARD

ADDED:

Charles's middle name at birth is actually Edwards - so definitely Catherine B's child:

CODY
CHARLES EDWARDS
M

560/ 649
Cathcart (Lanark)

Can't tell from a free search who they were living with in 1911 - at least not without trawling through up to 983 pages of census records!
Of course spending credits would result in an instant answer.

Wow, thanks so much for everyone's input. I need to study your findings a little more carefully. I'm doing this research for a Chelsea Pensioner at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, London, where I work as a volunteer. He will be thrilled with the details you have uncovered.
Thanks again for your kind efforts.
