Hi Helpers.
I have John Reardon b16th Apr.1901.(as on 1939 reg.) married Lily May Cracknell in 1927 (I bought cert GRO) It shows his father as Owen Reardon, further searches I have Owen married to Susannah Newell in 1894 (hope I'm correct) no censuses for them. I then found 1871,81,91 cens which show Owens father as Owen and mother as Hannah (Ryan) both from Limerick Eire.
My questions are=
Can not find a birth for John Reardon b1901 No 1911 census for him.
Can not find a birth for Owen Reardon b1870. West Ham. Have him on 1881,91 cens.
Tearing my hair out for days now. Help please. Regards Les.

I have these census and the 1871 it shows father as Owen, and as you say no Owen b1870
The 1881,91 Hannah is a widow.
I have been round and round this for days but still can't find answers to my original questions.

The Owen born in Wales has father, brother and son named Dennis. I notice that John named his son Dennis. Coincidence???

I just searched Susannah Newell and on 1881 cens she is age 9 living Roscoe St the same street as your 1911cens if it is her who remarried James Barrow.
I'm now thinking as/if Owen died 1899 and she remarried Barrow you could be correct but where is John b1901.
Did Owen die just after conception as he is as father on John's m cert.
I think you may have cracked it Maddie but still would like John's b cert.
I'll dig some more tomorrow.
