E. H. Dixon was a landscape painter. His/her subjects ranged from St Pancras Old Church up to Tufnell Park, Highgate and Hampstead, over the 1830s/1840s. There was then a gap before a flurry of painting in the Holborn area, as well as some reworking of earlier paintings, in 1867. On this basis I would guess a birth date around 1810 and a death around 1868. |
