Can someone please have a look at the 1891 and 1901 scottish census for Robert Moore at 16, Eastvale Place Anderston, Glasgow .
I have found him on the 1885 and 1905 Valuation rolls on scotlandspeople at the above address. Curious to find out where he was born and who lived with him,
thank you

There are large numbers of Robert Moores in various parts of Glasgow in 1891 and 1901, but none showing specifically as in Anderston.
. What else do you know about him? Age?

This is just a shot in the dark really ArgyllGran,
I noticed his name Robert Moore showing up at the same address as my great grandfather Henry Moore on the 1885 VR. As I hardly know anything about my great grandfather apart from his parents names on his death cert I thought this Robert Moore might be a brother or other relative. Also my grandads name was Robert Moore so another coincidence. My great grandad was born c 1838 on Londonderry according to various census his parents names were John Moore and Mary Mullen. As I say just seemed a bit of a coincidence with the address and christian names

If he was at no 16, there are numerous unrelated people living there and he’s a Labourer

I don't recognize any of those names as being connected to my Moore's.
Is it possible for him to show up on the VR's at one address but living at another address ?

Sorry - I deleted it as it didn't seem to be the right one, once I'd seen alviegal's later posts!
Robert Moore in the 1901 Scotland Census Name: Robert Moore Age: 24 Estimated birth year: abt 1877 Relationship: Boarder Gender: Male Where born: Ireland Registration Number: 644/10 Registration district: Anderston Civil Parish: Glasgow Kelvinhaugh County: Lanarkshire Address: 196 Kelvinhaugh St Occupation: Boiler Cutter ED: 57 Household schedule number: 80 Line: 25 Roll: CSSCT1901_307 Household Members: Name Age James Moore 26 - head, Ireland, railway porter Rebecca Moore 28 - wife, Ireland Rose Ann Moore 4 - Glasgow Robert Moore 1 - Glasgow Robert Moore 24 Maggie Moore 29 - Ireland
Without spending credits on SP to see the image, I would guess that Maggie is his wife - but of course could be a sister.

Surely, someone born in 1884 would not show as a tenant in 1885?????
Or am I missing something?
