Ah, so you are looking for information after 1945.

As shown above, your grandfather died in 1969, so there are only 24 years to account for.

His death cert might be helpful , depending on who the informant was.
His probate record shows that he had been living at 185 Coronation Buildings, Lambeth - so he hadn't moved far.

To see who the beneficiaries of his Will were, you can buy a copy of it here - https://probatesearch.service.gov.uk/

Enter the details as given in the probate record posted by Shirley on 17 June at 06:17.
You will see two pages of "Image Search Results".
Click on the image (tiny) of the first page.
Now you'll see an order from on the right side of the screen.
Fill that in with the same details (which you'll also see on page 1 of the search results ).
Click "Add to basket".
At the very top of the next page, in tiny print, you'll see "My basket (1)".
Click on that, and follow the ordering and payment instructions.
You'll be prompted to "create account" with the Gov.UK site, or to sign in if you already have an account.
It's free to register, and only £1.50 for a copy of the Will.

You'll receive an email with a link to the Will, which you can view online for 31 days. If you want to keep it longer, make sure you save it to your computer.

Henry and Daisy had one son, John, who I assume is your father.

I don't see a later marriage for Henry Walter Howe.

I don't think this is him:

Marriages Mar 1953
HOWE Henry W SMITH Colchester 4a 1225
SMITH Pamela I HOW Colchester 4a 1225

I think that's probably Henry WILLIAM Howe, who died in Essex in 1992.
Pamela Iris Howe died in Essex in 2021.

It's possible that your grandfather may have lived with a new partner without marrying her, if he and Daisy hadn't divorced. Do you know if they did?

In 1947, Henry and Daisy were living at 34 Fitzalan Street.

__________________
EDIT:
Henry seems to be listed twice in 1947 - once with Daisy at 34 Fitzalan Street, and again with Rose A Howe (presumably his sister-in-law) at 16 Kempsford Road.

In 1949 he's at 16 Kempsford Road with Benjamin & Rose A, and also Rose (presumably his sister).

Henry was probably at 75 Fitzalan Street in 1954.
He may or may not be with a Sarah F Evans - she may be in a different flat at the same address, and nothing to do with Henry.

Henry W Howe
in the London, England, Electoral Registers, 1832-1965
Name Henry W Howe
Electoral Date 1954
Street Address 75 (Ana [ Fitzalan Street on image ]
Ward or Division/Constituency Lambeth
County or Borough Lambeth, England

This MIGHT be Henry in 1963 - and at the same address in 1964. He doesn't appear to be with a partner.

Henry W Howe
in the London, England, Electoral Registers, 1832-1965
Name Henry W Howe
Electoral Date 1963
Street Address 21 Y-Shaw, Robert [ 21 Renfrew Road on image ]
Ward or Division/Constituency Vauxhall
County or Borough Lambeth, England
Reference Number LCC/PER/B/2939

ADDED:
But that might not be Henry Walter in 1963.
In 1956 that man is at the same address, with a Harry Howe.
Whoever Harry Howe is, he's at the same address in 1955 and 1959 - but not with Henry W.

ArgyllGran Report 7 Jul 2024 22:03

"How to get your copy grant and/or will.

You won’t be able to access the grant/will straight after ordering it. You will get an email confirming your order but this will not mean that your copy is ready to be downloaded.

You will get an email when it is ready to download. You will then be able to log in to the system and go to “My Wills” and save each available item to your computer. After you have logged in, the copy will be available for 31 days, so make sure that you save it before then."
