What evidence do you have to support the suggestion that he fathered two children with Rose Willetts?

Sorry for all the confusion but I am just recovering from a mini stroke. I will try and find out more about John Lacey.

Dudley Road Workhouse was apparently in BIRMINGHAM. Why full info can't be posted, I simply do not know

As ErikaH says it has already been noted by her and myself that the Rosina born in 1917 died in 1918, so she can't be the person you are looking for.

If she had died then she couldn't have married and had children.

So who are you looking for?

Also Rosina was Dudley Road workhouse now City Hospital.

If the 1937 birth is the one registered in Birmingham as WILLETTS, how do you know the father was LACEY?

John Lacey never married Rosina but had 2 sons , 1 named John born 1937. She later married to a man named Palmer.

as already said, you need a copy of Rosina's birth cert, to know for sure who her father was.

Both Betty and Jean (above) were registered in TAMWORTH district............

Ancestry trees are notoriously unreliable, and the one quoted above has NO record of the children who can be shown to be of this marriage, nor is there any proof that Rosina was the child of Percy and Frances. Guesswork, I suggest
