William F. Clark, age 91, of Hale died Monday, Aug. 3, 2009.

William was the founder and owner of Clark Brothers Trucking Company in Detroit. He was "a great jokester who loved to tease family and friends." He enjoyed fishing, hunting and his home on Long Lake. He was a member of the Hale Senior Center.

He was the beloved husband of the late Sylvia V. Clark. Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his son, William R. Clark, and daughter-in-law, Shirley Clark.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12, at the Hale chapel of the Buresh-Bennett Funeral Home, 121 S. Washington. The family will receive friends Tuesday, Aug. 11, from 3 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in Esmond-Evergreen Cemetery.
